Day 1-Introduction and Film production roles

Morning:

We will give an introduction regarding the course schedule and swiftly begin a detailed account of everybody's role in making a film. This will be a very valuable knowledge builder about the industry workings! The pre-production, production and post-production elements of a film will be explained. We will also look at the role of the producer, director, production managers, production coordinators, first assistant director, clapper/loader (the guys that goes: 'scene 5, take 2' ;-)), sound, production designer, writer, editor, sound design...phew-and the list goes on.

Afternoon:

We will continue with and close our presentation on the roles involved in film production :-)
